My favourite subject

Hello everyone! Although this semester could not be carried out in the best way due to the current situation in the country and the world, I think that my favorite course, despite all limitations, is General Chemistry Laboratory.

Although, I think this online course is useless and impractical, I have always like everything relate to the laboratory, and compared to the others, It is the best (clearly omitting English, the best of all jajaja).

In this course, until now, we have seen topics such as the characteristics of salts and oxides, Redox reactions and their behavior in certain groups of compounds, titrations, among other topics, but my favorite, without a doubt, is to see and learn from the process of crystallization and recrystallization. Crystallization is a purification procedure by which the formation of a crystalline solid, from a gas, a liquid or a from a dissolution. The result of these processes are incredible crystals. Without a doubt, I want to be able to continue learning new laboratory techniques and put them into practice in order to expand my knowledge and skills.

I just want everything to go back to normal, for I can take this course the right way, get my glasses done and all the practical work :(

The expert that I admire

I honestly have never thought about who is the expert in the field of chemistry that I admire, so it took me a long time to choose one. In high school, I did a job as a great scientist and I was impressed with everything she achievement in her time, for this reason, my blog will be by Marie Curie.

Marie Salomea Skłodowska-Curie was born in 1867. She was an outstanding Polish scientist who made multiple advances for science, specifically in the field of radioactivity. Her great fame is due to being the first woman to receive a Nobel Prize and the first person to receive 2 Nobel Prizes in different specialties (chemical and physical).

The first Nobel Prize that she obtained was that of Physical in 1903, together with her husband Pierre Curie, "in recognition of the extraordinary services rendered in their joint investigations into the radiation phenomena discovered by Henri Becquerel". The second first Nobel would come later, in 1911, this time alone due to the death of her husband in 1903, she would win the Nobel Prize in Chemistry "in recognition of her services in advancing chemistry for the discovery of the elements radio and polonium, the isolation of radio and the study of the nature and compounds of this element".

Marie Curie died on July 4, 1934 from an aplastic anemia, due to the radiation to which she was exposed in her experiments.

Without a doubt, Marie Curie was a example to follow, an inspiration for many. It is remarkable her great achievements in an era where women were seen in less, especially in the scientific world and for this reason I choose.

Best series for me

Throughout my life I have seen approximately 50 series in total, but only a few have marked me, and for this reason, I will write about the best series for me (without order). I write only 4 because "Mucho texto" jajaja

-How I meet your Mother:is a 9-season comedy series that is about the story of how the protagonist Ted Mosby tells his children how he met his mother. The story is based on 5 characters: Robin, Marshall, Lily, Ted and best of all, Barney. I start with "How i meet your Mother" because it is a series that I think everyone should see. It is not only a comedy series, because it gives us many life lessons and gives us a nice message.

-Breaking Bad: is a 5-season drama series that is based on the story of Walter White, a chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with cancer and to pay for his treatment and provide for his family, begin to cook and sell methamphetamine, with his former student Jesse Pinkman. The direction, production, photography, and script of this series are spectacular, it is 100% recommended, although I doubt that someone has not seen, it the motivation of many jajaja. Also, Better Caul Saul is a very good series, it shows the evolution of a Breaking Bad character.

-Game of Thrones: It is a drama series based on a book that is based on the fight of different kingdoms to gain control of the Iron Throne and rule the seven kingdoms. Some notable characters are: Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Cersei Lannister, Arya Stark and Jaime Lannister. This series of 8 seasons is totally recommended, it maintains a good level throughout history, although it last season is not very good.

-Sons of Anarchy: It is a series of 7 seasons that is based on the story of Jax Teller, a young member of a motoclyce club with the rang of vice president, who begins to question his own acts, those of his club and those of the president. of the club, Clay Morrow. Although this series is not as well known as others, it is very good and recommended, it has strong, emotional moments and a lot of action. The only bad thing is that it is not on Netflix and there are not many places to see it :(

Some other very good series that I've seen are: Mindhunter, The Sopranos, Vikings, The Good Doctor, Chernobyl, Black Mirror, Making a Murderer and Dark.
I probably forget many series or there are many better ones that I have not seen.
